Options
A spring-return actuator uses compressed air to enter the cylinder, driving the piston in a linear motion. Through the piston pin and a fork-shaped slot design, the piston converts this linear motion into rotational motion, which in turn drives the output shaft to rotate, thereby controlling the valve. When the air supply is interrupted or fails, the energy stored in the spring pushes the piston back in the opposite direction, returning the valve to its preset fail-safe position.
