Bigtork® actuators and control systems can be customized with flexible fire-resistant covers, metal fire-resistant covers, and other fire-resistant solutions to work in fire or extremely high temperature environments. In the control of ESD emergency shutdown system, the use of low-temperature and easily melted accessories can automatically reset the valve to a safe position according to the design requirements when a fire occurs.
PST Partial Stroke Testing
For some important control valves (including emergency shut-off valves) that maintain a certain state of continuous operation for a long time, due to being in a "dormant" state for a long time, they may not be able to respond to the operating instructions of the SIS (Safety Instrumented System) in emergency situations, resulting in the failure of the SIS system and posing risks and hazards to safety. PST Partial Stroke Testing is a very good safety measure that can set periodic partial stroke action tests to ensure the normal operation of the control valve.
