Scotch yoke rotary piston actuators are engineered for operation across a broad range of pressures and temperatures. The BG series air pressure actuators utilize compressed air or gas to reciprocate a piston, which is linked to an oscillating yoke arm that opens and closes the valve as it moves vertically. These rotary piston actuators come in four configurations: symmetric or canted, and spring-return or double-acting. Scotch yoke actuators feature a modular design, incorporating modules such as power, drive, and spring for customizable configurations.
